Orchids

To summarize an orchid would be exhausting to type and to read. If you can imagine the words that explains opulent, elegant, spectacular and truly impressive this would almost explain how perfect an orchid is. An orchid lover could never become complacent as there are hundreds and hundreds of varieties and still increasing in many hybrids.

As fresh cut orchids and as plants each are equally beautiful and as a cut flower has a long vase life. As cut flowers dendrobiums, cymbidiums, and phaleanopsis are more popular and easily available. Other varieties known as planted orchid are available as cut flowers but require ordering is advance.

Known as a quite expensive flower, orchids can be avoided. A single orchid stem, in a narrow glass vase, is all you need for a stunning and contemporary arrangement. One stem of orchid can be equal to a couple of stems of an alternative flower variety, and will look so much more dramatic!
